Join us for an exciting night of Washoku & Movies! We’ll be bringing Japanese cinema to you, where you will watch a unique lineup of short film screenings, with a focus on artistic aspects of Japanese culture. To complete the unforgettable experience, lunch will be provided to pair with Sake Tasting. There will also be a demonstration of a Tea Ceremony, and various workshops such as Ikebana, and Shodo. An all inclusive Japanese cultural experience you don’t want to miss!

Experience Japan’s drinking culture, and have a Sake Tasting of a variety of Sake provided by Tippsysake. Learn about the different breweries’ legacies one by one, and discover how sake has evolved with a deep appreciation for nature and the human process.
Washoku harmoniously blends the ingredients for a nutritious and beautifully presented meal. Sushi Boy will be providing Sushi Bento.
Ikebana, or kadō (華道), is a Japanese art form that involves arranging flowers and other natural materials in a stylized way to convey a specific emotion or feeling. The term roughly translates to "making flowers come alive".
The Japanese tea ceremony (known as sadō/chadō (茶道, 'The Way of Tea') or chanoyu, is a Japanese cultural activity involving the ceremonial preparation and presentation of matcha.
Japanese calligraphy, or shodo, is a form of calligraphy, or artistic writing, of the Japanese language. Written Japanese was originally based on Chinese characters only, but the advent of the hiragana and katakana Japanese syllabaries resulted in intrinsically Japanese calligraphy styles.
